Type Locality and Naming
Along the Dzhagarma ridge, N. Nuratau. R.R. Usmanov in 1990 (Usmanov et al., 1999f.; 460, p.162).
Synonym: Dzhagarminskaya Suite, Джагарминская св.
Lithology and Thickness
In the lower part of the section - siliceous rocks from gray to black, interbedded with massive thin-bedded limestones and dolomites.
Above - sandy clastic and oolitic limestones. Thickness 100-125 m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Relationships with adjacent strata are tectonic. (460).
Upper contact
Relationships with adjacent strata are tectonic. (460).
Regional extent
Northern Nuratau ridge, in two isolated outcrops in the Dzhagarma ridge, southern part of the Shokhetau Mountains (Shokhetau Klippen). Coeval with Chambil Fm?

Foraminifera Earlandia elegans (Raus. et Reitl.), Omphalotis cf. drequentata (Gan.), Tuberetina maljavkini (Raus.), Endostaffella shamordini (Raus.) and others (Usmanov et al., 1999f.).
